We are further excited that you are exploring the Anaheim Union High School District (AUHSD) as the agency that can support your journey. Your role as interns is vital in supporting students, schools, and our mission.

Our commitment to building and supporting career pathways for young professionals like you is unwavering. As school social workers, school counselors, and school psychologists, we understand the importance of comprehensive support systems in education. Here’s how our efforts align with our shared goals:

AUHSD Team

1. University Partnership: The district must have a formal agreement with your university. 

2. Interview Potential Candidates: Each department interviews first or second-year interns. The department lead will let your university know if you are a good match for our programs. 

3. Background Clearing: All interns must pass a background check to work with students at AUHSD.

4. Training and Professional Development: All interns go through 1 or 2 days of training before starting their internship.
