The purpose of Saxon Shield is to produce a school newspaper with school news as well as outside news, creative writing, and student submissions of art. We do five editions each year and give awards to good articles and drawings. Saxon shield is a great way to explore the world of creative writing and journalism, and we accept students of all grade levels. Thank you, we hope you’ll join us!

If you are interested in writing an article for the school newspaper or have any ideas for topics that you'd like to have featured, email the Co-Editors or advisor. We welcome all grade levels to participate at any time throughout the year.
