The purpose of the GSA is to provide a safe, supportive environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning/queer (LGBTQ), and straight youth to meet to discuss LGBTQ and gender issues, and to work to create a school environment free of hate, discrimination, harassment, and intolerance.

Signing a form and participating in events and meetings establishes membership in GSA. Active members shall be eligible to hold office, make decisions, and to vote.
