AVID Club encourages students to succeed at school and life. We gather at lunch to share friendship, spread college and career awareness and brainstorm ways in which students can become leaders on campus and in the community. To expose members and to expand a college going culture on campus, we fundraise to finance field trips to college campuses. AVID & Friends also engage in community service and plan bonding events for our members.

AVID and Friends welcomes everyone. To join and/or participate look for sign ups and registration forms during key events such as Join a Club Week. You may also join by completing the registration form on our AVID & Friends web page. For additional information please contact our advisor, Mrs. Davis at davis_v@auhsd.us or our Board President, Mayerli Agustiniano at 1037745@student.auhsd.us. Membership is ongoing. We hope to see you at one of our virtual club meetings or in Room 751 Thursdays during lunch.

While we are sheltering in place and engaging in remote learning during, all meetings will be virtual on Thursdays at 3:30 PM on Google Meets. If you would like to join us, register using the Registration link on the club web page or contact Mrs. Davis, our club advisor. On campus meetings are held every Thursday during lunch in Rm. 751 at Loara High School. Remember you can register on line, or simply drop in for the meetings. Everyone is welcome!
