SoCal Gas has temporarily suspended service disconnects EVEN IF you received an automated 48 hour shut off notice. In addition to this, they are offering assistance with paying your bill.


SoCal Edison is suspending service disconnections for nonpayment and waiving late fees for residential and business customers impacted by the COVID-19 emergency.


If you are experiencing financial hardship due to a loss of employment or other circumstances, Anaheim Public Utilities can help you with programs and resources including bill deferrals, income qualified discounts, emergency assistance, medical allowances, fee waivers, and limiting disconnections.

Direct financial assistance is available for basic necessities including rent, utilities and transportation. Volunteers interview those seeking financial assistance and in addition to the aid we provide, offer referrals to public and private agencies that may offer additional support.

Due to coronavirus (COVID 19), children who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals at school will get extra food benefits. These food benefits are called Pandemic EBT or P-EBT benefits. P-EBT benefits help families in California buy food when school is closed.
