AUHSD Induction: Innovating Education for the 21st Century
The Anaheim Union High School District (AUHSD) Induction program is a two-year, job-embedded experience committed to nurturing new teachers and guiding them toward a clear credential. We provide comprehensive mentoring and support, fully aligned with California's rigorous Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTPs).
What sets AUHSD apart, as one of California's largest and most diverse districts (established in 1898), is our uniquely enriched approach. Beyond robust mentoring, we equip our teachers with specialized training to seamlessly integrate 21st-century soft and hard skills directly into their instruction. This innovative focus is driven by our Career Preparedness Systems Framework (CPSF) and centered around the 5Cs: Collaboration, Communication, Critical Thinking, Creativity, and Compassion.
AUHSD is a dynamic 7th-12th grade district, proudly serving over 26,000+ diverse students. This rich demographic is a key strength, making AUHSD an exceptional environment for learning and growth. We are dedicated to mirroring this diversity in our teaching staff, cultivating a community built on core values that champion both students and educators.
Our Vision: Empowering Future-Ready Teachers
The AUHSD Induction Program strives to cultivate, support, and retain highly qualified educators. We empower you to create engaging, challenging, and innovative educational experiences, ultimately expanding post-secondary opportunities for all students.
