Augusta School Department was awarded a planning grant through the Maine Department of Education to study the possibility of later secondary school start times. Throughout the summer of 2026, our committee is reviewing research, gathering community feedback, learning from other Maine districts, and evaluating possible scheduling scenarios. No decisions have been made.
