Enter your password: Adulted**** (****=last four digits of phone number on file)

We will be contacting you via your augustaschools.org email. If you use a different email address more regularly, please have your augustaschools.org email address forward to that email.
In Gmail, select Gear > See All Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
Pick Add a forwarding address, enter an address, select Next.
Select Proceed and press OK.
Confirm the address in the email Google sends to the address you entered.
Choose Forward a copy of incoming mail to and select the desired action from the drop-down menu.
Select Save Changes.
With your email address you will be able to access Brightspace and school devices. You will also be able to access Google Drive. Later on in Orientation we will be exploring some ways you will be using Drive during your time here.
It is important that you know how to connect with your teachers and the rest of the staff at AACE. As well as know how to navigate Brightspace.
For this assignment you must find the module with Team information. Find the teachers you will be working with, this information should have been given to you at intake. Send an email to each teacher you will be working with, introduce yourself including; name, program, course/credit needed and any other information you would like to share.
Instructions:
Go to gmail.com.
Login to your SCHOOL email address (firstname.lastname@augustaschools.org Adulted**** (****=last four of phone number))
Click Compose in upper left.
Find your teachers email by searching in the correct Module.
Add their email into the "To" line. If you are sending the same email to multiple teachers, you can add all email addresses here.
Add Subject: "Introduction from Orientation"
Add in your email it should look something like the message below.
Send.

My name is Jane Doe and I am currently in orientation. I am enrolling in the High School Diploma Program. Liz, I will be joining your lab on Wednesdays at 2:30 for Pre-Health. Tracy, I will be joining your English lab on Thursdays at 11:00. Kenlyn, I will be joining Digital Literacy on Tuesdays at 12:00. I withdrew from traditional school in the 10th grade. I really want to build my vocabulary and earn my diploma because I am interested in a job in the medical field. I look forward to meeting you all in person.
