During this stage of development, the AuroraTV team focused on making the platform smarter, easier to navigate, and more personalized for users. The main goal was to improve how users discover content, move between screens, and manage their viewing experience. These additions continue to push AuroraTV closer to a polished streaming platform that feels both intuitive and flexible.
To make content easier to browse, AuroraTV now includes pre-made content categories in multiple areas of the app. These categories help users quickly jump into topics they are interested in without having to type each search manually.
New improvements include:
Pre-made categories added to the home screen
Pre-made categories added to the sidebar
These updates make the app feel more interactive from the moment a user opens it and reduce the effort needed to start watching content.
The search experience was also improved through updates to the search filter interface. This gives users more control over how they explore content and creates a cleaner, more organized way to interact with search results. Rather than relying only on broad searches, users can now move through content in a more structured way.
This refinement supports AuroraTV’s larger goal of combining simplicity with a more curated viewing experience.
AuroraTV also expanded its account features with the addition of an account center. This area is designed to support:
Login management
User information access
Profile customization options
This development helps move AuroraTV beyond a simple video interface and toward a more complete user centered platform. It also lays the groundwork for future personalization features and stronger account based experiences.
To make content feel less repetitive, the algorithm was updated to start from a wider range of videos instead of relying mostly on the top liked results. An AI keyword shaping system was also added to better interpret searches and improve content discovery. Together, these updates create a more dynamic and varied viewing experience.
This stage of development introduced several meaningful improvements across search, navigation, personalization, and playback. Key completed features include:
Pre-made categories on the home screen
Pre-made categories in the sidebar
A home navigation option on the second screen
AI keyword shaping
More randomized video selection
Skip video button support
Together, these updates make AuroraTV more accessible, more personalized, and more engaging for users. As development continues, the platform is becoming increasingly aligned with the team’s vision of a smooth and intuitive streaming style experience.
