This week focused on refining the interactive controls within AuroraTV, specifically the implementation and improvement of the retro-style knob system. While narrower in scope, this work played an important role in enhancing the app’s overall user experience and visual identity.
Key progress includes:
Continued development of the reusable knob component, used for both volume and channel control
Improved gesture handling and responsiveness, allowing smoother and more intuitive user interaction
Refinement of positioning and scaling using responsive layout techniques to ensure the knobs adapt across different screen sizes
Integration of the channel-switching functionality, enabling users to navigate between channels in a more immersive, TV-like way
These updates strengthen the interactive feel of AuroraTV and move the project closer to delivering a unique, polished viewing experience.

As development continues, the focus will shift toward refining interactivity and ensuring a smooth, polished user experience across all features. Upcoming priorities include:
Finalizing and polishing the knob-based control system, including smoother animations and more precise gesture handling
Enhancing channel navigation logic to ensure seamless switching and better synchronization with playback
Improving UI responsiveness and layout consistency, especially across different screen sizes
Integrating knob interactions more deeply with other features (e.g., volume, channel selection, and playback controls)
Conducting usability testing to refine the feel and intuitiveness of interactive elements
Continuing general bug fixes and performance improvements
These steps will help ensure that AuroraTV delivers a cohesive, responsive, and engaging user experience heading into final development stages.
