Dr. Megan Lorenz is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Augustana College. She started teaching at Augustana in fall of 2018 as a teaching fellow and officially joined the faculty as an assistant professor in fall of 2019. She earned her PhD in Psychology with an emphasis in Developmental Science from the University of Iowa. She currently directs the Augustana Baby and Child Development (ABCD) Lab and gets to collaborate with a team of amazing research assistants (see them below!). Her research focuses on word learning, play, and differences in learning from books and screens. She also teaches courses on human development, play, and cognitive development. When she's not teaching or researching, Dr. Lorenz enjoys traveling, playing games with her family, and baking!
