It is a fact. Students that do homework for at least 30 minutes every night do way better on tests. Establishing good study habits now will make being successful in harder classes later in life a lot easier.
Sometimes you will be too busy to completely finish a homework assignment. Submit it anyways. Depending on the assignment you might have completed enough to get all or most of the points. Give me a chance to make that decision. Submit it. Incomplete, late, or whatever. Just "Submit".
Homework assignments will be show on the Big Ideas text website. The assignment will also show up in Google Classroom. Use the Google Classroom assignment to keep track of what you have submitted.

Within a week of having been submitted.
If not submitted it will be scored on the due date.
Homework that hasn't been submitted will be digitally collected one week after the due date.

Score will reflect the evidence of effort observed.
100%: Submitted on time with a score of 70% or better.
85-95%: Submitted on time with a score of 60-69%.
70-84%: Submitted on time with a score of 50-59%.
60-69%: Submitted on time with a score of 40-49%.
50-59%: Submitted on time with a score of 30-39%.
40%: Submitted on time with a score less than 30%.
Maximum score for late homework is 75%.
Generally, homework for a previous Unit/Chapter won't be accepted. Talk to me, I do consider good reasons for not being able to keep up.
