Since joining Cascade, she has taught Green Team, 6th and 7th grade science and Accelerated Science; and the AVID Elective class to 7th and 8th grade scholars. Although she is still, always will be, a major science nerd, it is the AVID Elective that has her teacher’s heart because she believes our school is full of students who possess the desire to go to college and the willingness to work hard, and she wanted to make sure they all get the they all get the opportunity to be college and career ready that they deserve.
Corrie and her husband, Paul, who works at Boeing, still live in Enumclaw with their three goofy dogs. Although their daughters are grown and moved away, they enjoy going to visit them in their respective cities. Actually, they enjoy any kind of travel, especially if it involves palm trees, sandy beaches and sunshine! On fall weekends, they watch a lot of football, favoring the Seahawks and the Huskies! In the Spring, they cheer on UW softball!
