Individual Counseling

I am available to meet individually with students who may be working through a personal issue that may be uncomfortable (i.e. experiencing stressful situations like death, divorce, homelessness, abandonment, abuse, etc.).

These meeting times are planned, short-term and goal-focused counseling. School counselors do not provide therapy or long-term counseling in schools.

If you are worried about your child or concerned about how they may be responding to a situation at school or at home, please contact me and I would be happy to meet with them.

However, if you or I feel your student might need more than a check in, my job is to also to recognize and respond to student mental health needs and assist students and families with outside resources.

If access to local agencies is a barrier for you, we may be able to arrange in-school counseling if you have State Insurance.
