The Adam Project Movie Review
The Adam Project had a solid storyline with the help of the actors making it come to life. Ryan Reynolds was one of the main characters who caught people's eyes. The movie kept me involved, so I wanted to keep watching until the end. It had an interesting plot. The movie was a success, and it helped Walker Scobell, who played Young Adam, rise to the top. He is now going to play the bigger role of Percy Jackson in the TV series Percy Jackson and the Olympians that's coming to Disney Plus in April. I loved how the director placed everything together and how the movie was funny but still had action to make it exciting. Overall, I recommend watching The Adam Project.
A scrambled riddle has been hidden within the text of each article in our March edition. You will find a few words from the riddle in each article. The first person to find all the words, unscramble the riddle, solve it, and submit the answer on the attached Google form will win a $10 Sonic gift card!
Art is basically my only hobby, but I really enjoy it, though I don't do it often. When I was in seventh or eighth grade, I became seriously interested in sketching and drawing. At first, it was hard, but all things are hard at first until you get to know them better. The art I draw isn't necessarily realistic but more cartoonish, like anime and other things like that—simple but complex material to help me improve. Normally I don't draw that often, because I'm a bit of a perfectionist or I just don't have the motivation to spend hours on something that might not look right.
If something doesn't look right to me, it gets fixed, whether it takes hours or not. Additionally, the drawings I make take up to two or two and a half hours, sometimes three or four at most. Anyway, with drawing or art, I plan on getting into digital drawing because I really admire the talent that most artists have with it, and I just want to try it out instead of drawing with a pencil or paper my whole life. If I go to college, I plan to do graphic design like my aunt did and see where I go with that. See if I like, I might then try to become a tattoo or digital artist and make money off of that. If not, I'll become a cosmetologist.
Amariah Hill won in the poetry section of the contest for her poem "Painted Picture", and Cathrine Bedford won in the short story section for her story “Tomorrow”. Both students’ work will be featured in the OKCTE 2023 anthology, soon to be published. Wampus Cat News offers our grandest congratulations for this achievement!
