In case of any emergency, the Receptionist is responsible for monitoring the evacuation of all motel patrons. The evacuation will be indicated by the fire alarm sounding.
Upon hearing the alarm, you must:
Stay calm and observe the motel evacuation procedure
Follow the instructions located on the back of your motel room door. (You may pull this off and take it with you if you need)
Proceed directly to the nearest emergency stairwell and follow the signs out to the evacuation point in the motel car park to report to receptionist on duty
Wait until the all clear has been given before returning to your room
Please Note: Every Monday or Tuesday between 9:30am and 2:30pm the fire alarm system is tested and you will hear 2-3 short bursts of the alarm. Only the ongoing sounding of the alarm will mean you must evacuate the premises.
