The 2027-28 FAFSA (for college starting summer or fall 2027) is open now at StudentAid.gov. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) lets students apply for grants, loans, and work-study funds. File as early as you can, since many colleges and scholarships use early priority deadlines.

FSA ID – your username and password for StudentAid.gov. Students and each parent/contributor need their own.
SAI – Student Aid Index (replaced the old EFC, Expected Family Contribution)
FAFSA Submission Summary – the summary you get after filing (formerly the SAR, Student Aid Report)
MPN – Master Promissory Note, which you sign if you take out federal student loans
The FAFSA must be completed every year you attend college. Questions? Contact Mrs. Boltz in the Counseling Office.
