Escape from Babylon: Reggae Millennium Falcon

For this project, I wanted to make something I would be happy taking home. I love both Reggae music and Star Wars so I thought it would be cool to combine the 2. 

I laser cut 4 pieces out of cardboard. 2 for the tongs and 2 for the body. They were cut in such a way that they folded up into the Millennium Falcon. I taped them together and painted it with Rastafarian colors.

In the middle there is a hole with a cone on the inside. A speaker goes in the middle of this cone and it amplifies the sound to make the speaker louder. That way the Reggae Millennium Falcon can also play music on the go.
