The Syrian Firefly: A safe haven for vulnerable children, offering security, friendship, and engaging learning in a supportive environment
A total of 80 children in Al-Haffah participated in a Meccano course as part of the Applied Science Program, where they learned through building, assembling, and hands-on experimentation.
The course concluded with a recognition ceremony honoring the participating children for their commitment and achievements throughout the program, while encouraging them to continue learning and developing their skills.
Mekano Program in the Al-Haffa Area, Latakia City (2025–2026)
Sponsored by the Latakia Directorate of Awqaf, the program is implemented in the Al-Haffa area التابعة to Latakia City, with the aim of developing students’ fundamental engineering principles and transitioning them from theoretical learning to practical application, while fostering imagination and engineering design skills among first and second الحلقة students.

🔹 Working mechanism: Careful monitoring and periodic evaluation to ensure the program is implemented efficiently and achieves its intended objectives.
In cooperation with Tajamoa Men Ajel Oma, through the Mekano Program we are committed to providing effective educational support for children in the first and second حلقات stages. The program aims to strengthen essential learning skills, encourage curiosity, discovery, and logical thinking, and help students positively integrate into the school environment while achieving sustainable progress throughout their educational journey.
