The Syrian Firefly: A safe haven for vulnerable children, offering security, friendship, and engaging learning in a supportive environment
Highlights from the General Science Lab Activities during the Second Week of the Applied Science Course at the Syrian Firefly Center
One of our student’s creations, Ahmad Al-Yassin, assembled a simple circuit to build a functional siren using easily accessible materials.
We also conducted an experiment to create a basic hot air balloon, accompanied by an explanation of its working mechanism.
After explaining the basic operation of a fan and applying the concept practically, we moved on to the mechanical and electronic principles of how an airplane works—then their imaginations soared high with the plane in the skies of the Syrian Firefly Center.
