I'm so excited to have you as students and families for the 2026-27 school year at AMS! Whether you are in one of my classes for the first time or you are returning for your second round of creativity with me, welcome! I'm so glad you're here! 

About Mrs. Smart 

📖 I was once a Yearbook student too!
I was on my high school yearbook staff, and I know firsthand how special it is to be part of a team that captures memories people will treasure forever.

🎨 I have always loved design and creativity.
From photography and digital art to layouts and storytelling, I love creating things that bring ideas to life. I believe everyone has creativity inside them—we just have to find the way it shines! I've been "designing" the world around me since I was around four years old!

🌈 My favorite color is... all of them!
Rainbows are my favorite because they represent creativity, joy, individuality, and the idea that every person brings something unique to the world.

👩‍👧‍👦 I am a proud mom of three amazing kids.
My family is my greatest adventure, and I love celebrating the little moments that become our favorite memories.

🐾 I have the best Frenchie dog ever!
My French Bulldog is definitely part of the family and brings a lot of personality, laughs, and love into our home.

📚 I love helping students discover their talents.
Whether you love photography, designing, singing, dancing, acting, or trying something completely new, there is a place for you in one of my courses!

✨ My goal for this year:
To create classroom environments where everyone feels valued, creative, supported, and proud of what we accomplish together.
