Camp Ocean Pines

General Info

A jewel on the Central Coast, Camp Ocean Pines sits on thirteen acres of Monterey Pine forest that overlooks the ocean shore in Cambria, California. The camp was established in 1946 to serve the community as a non-profit outdoor education and conference center. Their mission is to foster enjoyment and appreciation of the natural world among people of all ages through creative activities in a residential camp setting.

Here, students use the natural environment as a living laboratory. Campers learn about ecological concepts while they explore and study a variety of ecosystems through first-hand experiences. Students, teachers and counselors share the enriching experience of living in cabins together, eating community meals, exploring tidepools, learning on the trails, playing team building games, singing songs and performing skits around a campfire and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean.

Chaperones have already been chosen for camp 2024.
