Saving: Easy as 1, 2, 3!
You may have already thought about saving your work throughout your time working on your video, which we highly recommend doing. If not, you must save your video as one of your last steps before losing all the precious time and effort you have poured into this project. To do this, simply hover your mouse over and click on the “File” tab on the top left corner of the screen. You should see a drop-down screen of options. Click hover downward and click on the “Save As” icon. Once you have done those first 2 steps, then a small pop up screen will appear at the center of your screen. This is your chance to edit the video title should you prefer to do so. Once you are satisfied with your video title simply press the “save” button on the bottom right of the pop-up screen (see Figure 8).

Self Checklist: Did you...
Save your work immediately before closing DaVinci?
Add anything after you last saved? If so, did you save immediately in the off chance or computer crashes?
Save two copies of you work to your computer and one other source (such as Google Drive, or a Flash Drive?)? You can never be too careful.
NOTE: You must manually save your work before closing the software, otherwise the software may not save your work.
