You, as a faculty member at the University of Skaro, are expected to address the need for a talking head video to better support, mentor, and guide online students. The main focus of the LDT team is to contribute to this learning goal by providing you with a step-by-step learning module that is developed and designed with both new and veteran faculty in mind. This module will assist you with your talking head video by utilizing DaVinci Resolve 18, which should already be a software program on your university-issued laptop. The University of Skaro desires for you to have the knowledge on how to create an online introduction video for your online courses, also known as a "talking head" video. As long as you have already obtained the raw media you plan to utilize for such a video, this module will provide you with the following steps on how to: operate and understand the DaVinci software, create and edit a talking head video, upload the video to YouTube, and embed the video into your course.
