Literature Review COE 501.
I was a busy guy this summer. Between COE501 and LDT503, I had a lot on my plate. It didn't help that the courses overlapped, so while I was finishing up the Literature Review, I had assignments due in 503. Plus I'm also working a full-time job. But, I was pretty proud of the Literature Review. I learned a lot about how to research and it has really helped my document presentation.
EDT 540 Create a lesson
I had a busy fall 2022. I had just started the Masters program and they threw me into the fire. I had to develop an assignment lesson plan. I really wish I would have taken COE 501 before EDT 540. My papers have a much more professional feel than the first few classes I did. However the content was pretty good.
LDT 502 Work out Loud (WOL)
Blogging was a section of the LDT 502 and I ended up following it through for the rest of my courses. I figured it was a good way to document my journey. I've done blogging before, but have never really spent a lot of time on the site. Primarily I was just concerned with getting content online. Using a tool like google blogger allows me to concentrate on the content, and 503 has allowed me to learn how to tie all of the tools together into something that looks and feels professional.
LDT 503 the final project was to create a Website (This website)
All of my courses from LDT503 are online on this website
For the final project of LDT 503 We had to create a website. I thought this was a pretty cool project and I took advantage of it by trying to learn some new tools. Normally I would fire up VI inside of bash and start putting in my tags
But this is much easier! I don't have to worry about open / close of my sections and a whole host of other things. This allows me to concentrate on a better user experience, to pay attention to my fonts, colors, and image composition rather than just the content. This was my first attempt at using a tool to create a website. The only thing I'm worried about is portability. I would really like to take this site and move it to my own domain. However, Google is not going to allow that.
