A supportive, low-pressure space designed specifically for graduate students who are also parents. Whether you’re dealing with time management issues, parent guilt, imposter syndrome or trying to figure out how to cover childcare and bills, this group is for you.

October 19th (Due)

National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP)

For students in their first year of their first master’s program interested in STEM research.

1. Please complete the intake form so that an ONSA advisor can verify each applicant’s eligibility. Please do not schedule an NSF GRFP appointment until an ONSA advisor contacted you about an appointment. 

2. After completing the intake form, an ONSA advisor will contact each applicant to notify them of their next steps. 

3.  Applicants will work with their faculty mentors and ONSA advisors on the development of their materials. Applicants are encouraged to have early drafts reviewed by ONSA before October 2nd.

4. After an ONSA advisor has reviewed an early draft, applicants will gain access to additional resources, such as fellows serving as peer mentors, writing support, and support for revisions from an ONSA advisor. The applicant will work with their support team to continue to make revisions for the October deadline.
