ASU Software Engineering Capstone Projects

The Capstone Project for the Software Engineering program at ASU provides students an opportunity to apply their technical skill and knowledge of engineering principles in a team-oriented development of a complex software project, system, or device. Students work in teams to develop a product from concept to implementation.  

Projects proposed are expected to be challenging but have a defined scope that can be completed in two semesters by a team of four to six senior undergraduate students. Student teams may be either on-campus or online.   

The submission link provided from this web site may be used to submit one or more project proposals. We encourage sponsors to "market" projects to students by providing a 5-minute YouTube video describing their organization and motivation for the idea. We are here to work with you to refine suitable project ideas, scope, and presentation to students (click on the "contact us" option).

For full consideration for Fall Semester, please submit by August 20, 2025.
