This course provides ASU employees working in California with the knowledge and skills to comply with California Senate Bill 553, the Workplace Violence Prevention Plan law. Participants will learn how to recognize and report workplace violence, identify safety resources and supports, and be informed of relevant policies. This training must be completed within 30 days of the hire date.

The EHS Fire Safety Annual Training course is required to be completed annually by all ASU employees whose job requires them to work on campus. This online course includes a short fire safety video and a test. You must correctly answer 10 out of the 12 questions (80%) to pass the course. You can take the test an unlimited number of times. This comprehensive fire safety and prevention course is required for all ASU employees. Participants will develop a solid understanding of fire hazards, prevention strategies, and emergency response procedures. The curriculum covers essential topics including types of fire hazards, proper use of fire extinguishers, and the importance of fire safety equipment. By the end of the course, participants will have the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance fire safety in the workplace, minimize risks, and ensure a safer environment for themselves and their colleagues. This course emphasizes proactive safety measures and compliance with fire safety regulations, fostering a culture of awareness and preparedness in the face of fire-related hazards.
ASU - YOUR DUTY TO REPORT
This training explains university policy and provides important ASU resources and contact information to report incidents of unwanted sexual conduct and other inappropriate behavior. Title IX — Your Duty to Report training is available to student workers, staff, and faculty.
All faculty, staff, and student workers must complete this 15-minute online training module within 60 days of their hire date. To take the course, you must have an ASURITE affiliate username and password and Duo two-factor authentication to take the course. Contact our help desk if you experience trouble accessing the training.
