Course Introduction

This course is an introduction to global history from 1500 to 2000, exploring key political, social, economic, cultural, and environmental developments across the world. Through lectures, readings, and discussions, students will learn to analyze historical sources, understand diverse perspectives, and connect past events to present-day issues. The course also builds critical thinking, interpretation, and writing skills, fulfilling the ASU Humanities, Arts and Design requirement.
