Mikah Dyer

Hello! My name is Mikah Dyer, and I'm thrilled to share a bit about myself with you.

I’m a 19-year-old student majoring in Secondary Education with an emphasis in History and a minor in Political Science at Arizona State University. Born and raised in Peoria, Arizona, I’ve always had a deep connection to my community and a passion for education and civic engagement. Both of my parents are educators, which has profoundly influenced my career path and passion for teaching. My older brother, who is a pilot, has also been an inspiration, showing me the importance of following one's dreams.

I am eager to be in the classroom and am excited at the opportunity to educate the next generation of American citizens. 

I’m passionate about local government and believe in the power of young people to drive change. My involvement in various civic engagement initiatives has fueled my desire to get more young people involved in the democratic process. I’m honored to be a Flinn Scholar, a distinction that has allowed me to pursue my academic and professional goals with great support and encouragement.

When I’m not studying or working on civic projects, you’ll likely find me exploring Arizona, engaging in political discussions, or spending time with my family. I’m excited to continue my journey in education and look forward to making a positive impact in my community.
