Ms. Leighty thinks that good work should be celebrated and that learning should be fun! Some of the rewards she uses are as follows!
PRIDE Cards can be exchanged at lunch in Trojan Corner for snacks, prizes and more! Ms. Leighty will hand out pride cards for in-class contributions, catching her mistakes on the board, and at many other moments worth celebrating!
On Fridays, Ms. Leighty will select a student from one of her classes that's shown excellent PV Pride all week to celebrate!
To encourage hard work, Ms. Leighty will provide in-the-moment rewards. These can range from candy to other prizes that the students deem desirable.Â
Throughout the semester, every class of Ms. Leighty's will get points towards a pizza and ice cream party. Points are earned through pride cards, student of the week, and in class for other moments worth celebrating. The class with the most points will earn the party!
