When I completed this module I found myself completely humbled by the experience. I recognize that I have some talent when it comes to technology, but I can not fully grasp coding. There was a point in my life that I tried to take computer science classes, and I tried to use Code Academy, but both instances ended with me giving up. Programming is an art, and a second language, and I do not have the talent to fully understand it. I did, however, learn that art can be created with code, which is simply amazing. The beautiful kaleidoscopes that were created with lines-with code-are an amazing feat of technology. While struggling through the puzzles, I found myself wishing for more detailed instructions on how to complete the objectives. I immediately understood how to draw the square, and I was able to successfully draw the flower after struggling with the repeat function before it, but I mainly struggled and used trial and error to finish the puzzles. My husband is a programmer, and I am fully aware of how talented he is, but I have even more appreciation for him now. I can not do what he does, and that is okay.
