Laurene Shindledecker, CMS School Social Worker, has enjoyed building meaningful connections, addressing the social emotional needs of students, teaching valuable social emotional learning skills and empowering students since 2014. Prior to her work in the educational setting, Mrs. Shindledecker provided outpatient counseling to children and their families and has worked with children, youth and families across multiple community service agencies since 1994.

Mrs. Shindledecker is a wife and mother of an adolescent daughter and a very energetic “fur daughter”. When she’s not at CMS, Mrs. Shindledecker loves spending time with her family and friends. She is a “board game nerd” and also enjoys outdoor activities, shopping, reading, home decorating and completing “old school” paper/pencil word searches.
