ChatGPT can be a helpful classroom companion. It can be utilized to build lesson plans, develop quizzes, design learning activities, or create writing prompts, among many other things. ChatGPT can be utilized to personalize learning for individuals, tailoring lessons to specific learning styles. Beyond the practical application by the educator, ChatGPT can be used by students to practice their own proofreading and critical thinking skills. Learning activities that utilize ChatGPT can help familiarize students with emerging technologies, for instance how to strategically prompt chatboxes to develop specific and quality responses (Roose, 2023).

Higher Education

ChatGPT can be beneficial to educators in higher education by saving time, increasing productivity, supporting personalized learning, and developing marketable skills. Like in any classroom, ChatGPT can be used to build technical components like a course syllabus, learning objectives, assignments, assessments, and rubrics. It can also be used to develop personalized learning based on student needs and to support student learning as a tutoring tool. Students can also use ChatGPT as an exercise in fact-checking and editing to help build their technical skills. By teaching students to identify mistakes, hallucinations, or misinformation in ChatGPT, educators help students build critical thinking and technological skills (Claybourn, 2023).

Corporate

In the realm of corporate training, ChatGPT is useful for generating training content, developing training topics, training customer service chatbots, simulation training, and assisting in virtual learning. Of these, particularly interesting is how ChatGPT can be used to create simulation training or to simulate conversations that would allow staff to practice customer interactions. This can help develop customer service and problem solving skills in a low-risk environment. Like in other settings, ChatGPT can be used to generate personalized learning content and assessments for learning.(Gomez, 2023)
