The main objective of the project focuses on data collection through the use of machine learning on real-time video feeds. The data collected is intended to be visualized on the Dashboard that the company has created. Along with this, the Nvidia Jetson devices are hoped to soon be used as IOT devices, meaning that they will be controlled from the company’s dashboard as well and operate in headless mode, so part of the project is figuring out how to implement such features into the Jetson devices that are deployed.

Our team has developed an autonomous robot car, which uses its camera and a custom machine learning model to navigate a road consisting of LEGO road plates. We used the Raspberry Pi LABISTS robot kit as the basis for the hardware, running our custom developed Python-based Middleware program to both execute the model (which was trained with Google's Tensorflow), and communicate with a client running a visual programming language, namely VIPLE. We hope our platform will provide a simple, easy to use introduction to AI and Machine Learning for High School students.

inKind is a restaurant financing company that incentivizes consumers to dine at top restaurants through the use of a rewards system. The purpose of our capstone project project is to further help these restaurants in inKind’s circle by allowing inKind’s contractors to manually tag receipts with relevant metadata. This creates a taxonomic classification of food items and their tags to be used as a base model for item recommendations for new and existing customers.

Our goal is to develop a virtual reality experience that teaches the importance of pipeline construction safety in a realistic, yet safe, manner. Focused on using realistic animations and haptic feedback to prompt an emotional response from construction workers that choose not to follow safety practices because of perceived convenience. The emotional response is meant to create a lasting impact to change the behavior of construction workers when they are on site.
This application aims to provide all the tools necessary in one app for easy overlay of images to improve efficiency for the artisans' workflow. The main feature of the applications is a live overlay tool that allows users to overlay images over the live camera view in order to take a matching image of the second object. Once the image is taken, users have access to a collection of editing tools to re-adjust the final images before sharing them.

In order to reduce the amount of time required for training people to interact with robots, we examine whether voice control interfaces are more well-received than remote control ones. To do so, we built a DonkeyCar robot car with a Jetson Nano and developed software for both types of interface. We then ran an experiment with both interfaces, asking participants to drive the car with each interface separately and complete a quick survey afterward.
