Acknowledgement
In this acknowledgement section, I extend my deepest gratitude to all who have walked with me on this challenging but fulfilling journey.
Faculty - It was an honor to study with professors, all from very diversified backgrounds, who lived up to the name of Social Justice and Human Rights. I had the opportunities to have office hours with professors in every class I took, and was encouraged by your sharp perspectives and warm attention, which always made this journey more inspiring and satisfying.
Peers - The online learning environment has its limitations, of course, but that is why I could get to know you all from very various backgrounds and places, and learn a lot from you. Let's keep in touch on LinkedIn!
DAIJOUBU - My proud organization in Japan. I know I surprised you very much when I said I would start this master's program at the same time I got pregnant and gave birth. I am deeply grateful to everyone who kept DAIJOUBU running grandly and helped me graduate with my master's degree. Thank you so much for always being my place to belong!
Six Seconds & #EQPOPUP team - Thank you for putting me in charge of the world's largest program, #EQPOPUP, with the leading EQ in the world, and for always letting me contribute to the world while learning and practicing EQ on the front lines. Because I found Six Seconds EQ, and because Josh wrote me a reference for me to enroll in this Master's, now I get to graduate with a sense of accomplishment. EQ and Social Justice are essential pieces of each other. I am more than ready to make the world a better place!
Professional Peers - Keiko, Takashi, and Hiro, thank you for giving me valuable feedback and for being reliable, professional cheerleaders for my learning journey. Although a humble me wants to say I could have done more, I would leave some room to grow and improve for the future me. I look forward to working with you to make this world a better place.
My children and husband - Thank you for cooking and doing chores, especially for the last few months! Also, thank you for being the cutest cheerleader at any time. When your Mom ran through a 20-month MA student journey while being pregnant, delivering, breastfeeding, and running an organization, it must have been not an easy time for you too. Thank you so much for being patient. I'm so grateful that you all truly understood how much I was passionate about this and this challenge meant to me. As you know, Mama won't stop! Love you all!
