Students who wish to participate in a Korean language training course of more than 2 months must obtain a visa in accordance with the language training period and then enter the country.
Obtaining a visa varies from 1 to 2 months depending on the country, so you should apply with plenty of time before leaving the country.
Trainees for 2 semesters (6 months) or more
Stay duration
- Visa period is determined depending on the training registration period.
-6-month stay permit upon admission to the training center. Afterwards, the visa must be extended every 3 months.
-Stay is possible up to 2 years
Caution
Students holding a study abroad visa (D-2) can study abroad without a separate visa.
* Change to language training visa is permitted on a limited basis (limited to D-2-6, D-2-8)
Limited to countries with visa exemption agreement that allow 90-day stay

Caution
You must check in advance whether you can change your visa within the country. In some cases, you may need to re-enter the country after leaving the country or apply for visa issuance abroad.

If you are a student who has obtained a language training visa (D-4-1) and the training period is extended due to additional registration, you must personally submit the following documents to the Immigration Office.

If you have received a general training visa (D-4), you must obtain an alien registration card (limited to regular course students). To do this, you must personally submit the following documents to the immigration office.
