In this Woodshop class, you will jedi with me to make a simple, functional shelf made from high quality finish pine. Ideal for records, knick knacks, your pet snake or whatever you like. You can set it horizontally or vertically, even pop a lightweight TV on there. Or make it gamer central to store your Atari. Shelf size: 39 inches x 26 x 11 inches wide. Ideal for up to 60lbs of stuff and includes hairpin legs. In all our woodshop classes we focus on using power tools that are accessible and fairly affordable to buy, simple projects for beginners and skill building with affordable tools you can get at Home Depot or Harbor Freight. This class is a simple starter class and a great first wood class. You learn about: using a chop saw to cut your boards, how to sand, how to finish your shelf for a more refined finish, leveling for straight shelves, project assembly. All the shelves can be adjusted to the heights you like in class.
