At ASPIRE Academy, we value ongoing professional development for our staff and faculty. We recognize that continuing education is essential to providing our students with the highest quality education possible. To support our faculty and staff, we have developed the following plan for ongoing professional development.

Create goals and objectives based on data to encourage growth and improvement.
Provide ongoing evaluation and monitoring of progress towards goals.
Offer professional development opportunities on data analysis and goal setting.
Michigan Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Training Opportunities
Michigan Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Training Opportunities
Require all faculty and staff to participate in the training opportunities provided by the Michigan Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
Provide financial support for those who attend these training opportunities.
Professional Development Opportunities Provided by ASPIRE Academy Administration
Professional Development Opportunities Provided by ASPIRE Academy Administration
Host regular professional development days for all faculty and staff.
Provide virtual and in-person training events on best practices in online learning.
Provide training in educational software, including Nearpod, Google Suite, Kami App, EdPuzzle, and several other educational resources.
Encourage all faculty and staff to attend the annual MACUL (Michigan Association of Computer Users in Learning) conference.

Peer Coaching and Collaboration
Encourage peer coaching and collaboration between faculty and staff.
Provide opportunities for faculty and staff to share best practices and collaborate on projects and initiatives.
Encourage faculty and staff to participate in regular meetings to discuss their professional development goals and progress.
Performance Appraisals and Feedback
Performance Appraisals and Feedback
Conduct regular performance appraisals to provide faculty and staff with feedback on their performance.
Use performance appraisals as an opportunity to identify areas for improvement and develop plans for ongoing professional development.
Annual MACUL Conference
Annual MACUL Conference
ASPIRE Academy will encourage staff and faculty attendance at the annual MACUL (Michigan Association of Computer Users in Learning) conference.
This conference provides opportunities for professional development and networking with other educators in the field of technology.
