Use inclusive, professional language appropriate for all audiences
Avoid offensive, explicit, or profane language
Consider the impact of your words on others
Provide constructive feedback when appropriate
Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach in discussions
Share relevant, valuable content that benefits the community
Keep discussions focused on appropriate topics
Verify information before sharing to prevent misinformation
Avoid spam, promotional content, or irrelevant messages
Respect designated channels and spaces for specific topics
Protect the personal information of community members
Obtain explicit consent before sharing anyone's personal details
Keep sensitive discussions and shared experiences within the community
Exercise discretion when discussing professional matters
Report privacy violations immediately to community administrators
Respect copyright and intellectual property rights
Properly attribute ideas, content, and materials to their original creators
Obtain necessary permissions before sharing copyrighted content
Create and share original content when possible
Support and encourage creative work within the community
The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and may result in expulsion from the alumni community:
Harassment, bullying, or intimidation of any kind
Discrimination based on race, gender, age, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic
Sharing explicit, offensive, or inappropriate content
Unauthorized sharing of personal or confidential information
Spam, phishing, or fraudulent activities
Plagiarism or copyright violations
Deliberate disruption of community discussions or activities
Violations of our code of conduct are grounds for warnings or removal from the alumni community. If you ever experience or witness any such behavior, please report it immediately by submitting the Safety Form.
