Jazz Band

The AHS Jazz Band is a .5 credit course that meets outside of normal school hours for both the fall and spring semesters. Students must enroll in to participate and receive credit. Jazz Band is an advanced course and students should already have at least 3 years of instrumental music lessons or courses. Beginners are not qualified to enroll. The jazz ensemble performs regularly at our annual winter and spring band concerts as well as other school, community, and private events throughout the school year. Members are required to attend all scheduled classes, rehearsals, and performances.
