CBCAC/ASM Youth Summer 2021 Final Projects

Welcome to the showcase of our teen's final projects!

Summer of 2021: The teens from this year's CBCAC/ASM program, Chinese and Asian American Civic Engagement @ Chinatown, were split into four groups and given the general topic of civic engagement relating to the AAPI community, each group went about designing and completing a final project based on the topic of their choice. From deciding the purpose and intended audience to executing their project ideas and creating evaluative criteria for themselves, the projects displayed in this showcase are completely led and done by the teens.

On each group's page, the teens have written an introduction and displayed their Final Projects. Click on a group below to jump to a specific page or browse through all them using the tabs at the top!

Group 1: AAPI LGBTQ+ Community

Group 2: Bridging Gaps Between Minorities

Group 3: Debunking AAPI Stereotypes

Group 4: Gentrification of Chinatowns

Thank you to all the ASM and CBCAC staff who helped and supported the teens and the program throughout the summer!

Thank you to the teens for participating in our program and dedicating so much time and effort towards these Final Projects! Congratulations on finishing the program! I hope that your time and experience during the program was just as meaningful and enjoyable for you as it was for us! Wishing you the best on your future endeavors~
