Hello everyone, this is our final project on gentrification of Chinatowns. We wanted our topic to be on gentrification because gentrification should be a more well known topic since it is extremely important. The process whereby the character of a poor urban area is changed by wealthier people moving in, improving housing, and attracting new businesses, typically displacing current inhabitants in the process.

An example is this hotel in Chicago's Chinatown. New buildings cater to a different crowd and will cause displacement within residents.
