NEXT STEPS

The next steps that would be taken to continue the project would simply be for other citizen scientists to go outside and try to identify insects using our procedure. Upon finding arthropods they should record the type and what habitat they were found in. Doing this over time will create a large database of different species and where they have been found, which would help reinforce existing data or help establish stronger trends found in our own research.
