We’re excited for World of Work Day, happening on the morning/ day of Wednesday, March 4th! See Schedule below. This event connects ASM students with professionals, offering valuable insights and practical skills to prepare them for future careers.

We’re inviting community members to volunteer by:

• Share Your Career Journey:
  Deliver a 50-minute session about your profession, highlighting your career path, key insights, and the skills needed to succeed in your field. This is a wonderful opportunity to inspire students by showcasing the possibilities that lie ahead in the world of work.  Alternatively you can theme your talk with the latest career insights or topic that is occurring in your field of work or combine with a industry style activity for a hands on approach.  

• Host an Interactive Workshop:
  Lead a hands-on 50- minute session designed to equip students with essential career skills, such as:

  1. Building a LinkedIn profile

  2. Crafting a professional resume for young professionals

  3. Practicing interview questions

  4. Soft Skills

  5. Networking

  6. Or other topics that align with your expertise
