The WoW Health & Wellbeing Team is a service-learning, Work experience and CAS opportunity focused on promoting holistic health and fostering a supportive school culture. The team's objectives include educating students on mental health, physical fitness, nutrition, and stress management through events, workshops, and campaigns, as well as advocating for mental health to reduce stigma. The team will also provide peer support and resources, collaborate with school administration to integrate health programs, and empower student voices to ensure initiatives remain relevant. This team emphasizes raising awareness and advocating for health and wellness rather than fundraising. Joining offers you the chance to make a positive impact, gain valuable skills like leadership and event planning, represent their peers, and enjoy exclusive opportunities such as working with health professionals.
The team will meet weekly on Tuesdays from 4-5 pm, starting October 2025, and requires a minimum of 10 additional hours of work throughout the year.
