Step into the world of anti-trafficking advocacy with Marci Renée, Author, Public Speaker, and leader of The Strawberry Girls NGO. Marci, who feels called to be a voice for the "Silent Ones."
This powerful session, titled "Become a Creative Voice of Freedom," will take students on the journey of The Strawberry Girls and the story of "Habiba—The Genesis Girl," which launched an entire anti-trafficking movement. You will learn about the birth of a non-profit in Spain and its global partners.
The highlight of the workshop is the Response section, where you'll be challenged to use your creative gifts (art, poetry, writing, music, dance, drama, debate, etc.) to respond to Habiba’s Story and advocate for all the "Habibas" in the world.
