AP Exam Day Policies

Dear students and parents,

Please read the notes below carefully to find out important details of this year’s AP Exams.

Please make sure you know exactly where you are heading for your appropriate test. If you have any questions, make sure to ask ahead of time.

ATTENDANCE

1) Attendance - Students are encouraged to attend regularly scheduled classes on the day of an exam; however, they are allowed to miss classes on exam day. That is, if students have a morning exam, they can miss afternoon classes, or, if they have an afternoon exam, they can miss morning classes. They can only miss classes on the same day of the AP exam.

2) If students are going to miss classes, they must inform their teachers. Ms Moola will record absences because of AP exams.

3) Students in danger of receiving no credit for a course because of excessive absences should not miss class.

TEST DAY BEHAVIOUR

1) Silence - Students must be silent in the hallways at all times.

2) Students not adhering to College Board rules can be asked to leave at any time.

3) All students are expected to try their best.

These exams are important; make sure to get a good night’s rest before your exam, and eat a nutritious breakfast. You are allowed to bring a snack and beverage for your 10-minute break. It is advisable to bring a sweater, in case the room temperature is below your comfort level.
