What did you learn about questionnaire writing from the above?
This standard is worth 3 credits. Evidence for your overall grade is collected via six milestones.
This assessment MUST completed over time (It can't be done last minute)
This assessment activity requires you to work independently to design a questionnaire about your topic of choice.
There is a suggested questionnaire design brief, but you may consider any other topic with approval from your teacher.
For example, it could be to gather information about the quality of a product in your design course, or market research for your business studies course.
You will plan, write and review questions for your questionnaire. Attached is the Marking Schedule - broken down by stage - so you can check you are meeting the standard critera.
Swap your 1st draft questionnaire - with another 2 students; get them to carry out a desk review on your questions.
You should take at least 5 minutes to do a proper desk review.
Take photos of your completed desk review forms (or scan them) and attach them to your assessment task.
Look at the feedback you received from the desk review, and in your journal explain and justify any changes you will make.
Here is a copy of the Doc required for the deck review
Please make a copy
Put your draft questions into a Google Form
Update any questions you need to change from your initial draft.
Ensure you comment on the reason why you have changed them.
Complete the pilot survey by sharing your Google Form with people in the target population (within the school or classmates). You must have at least 20 responses.
You need to copy results from your Google Forms and put them into the assessment task.
Consider the results of your pilot survey.
MAKE A COPY of your pilot survey question and further refine this new version of your questionnaire based on this pilot survey.
Do include any changes you already made through the pilot survey process.
Add your new final version of your questionnaire to this assignment.
Reflect on the changes you have made and how well your final questionnaire meets the purpose of your survey and the needs of your audience.
You may also consider possible future extensions that could be made to the questionnaire (or further questions that may arise from the responses you would receive - new research objectives that now occur to you).
