Grading scheme

There are five grading components. Their relative weightages are given below.

1. Bioinfo Assignments- 25 %

2. Modelling Assignments- 25 %

3. DIY project - 30 %

4. DIY project peer evaluation - 10 %

5. Classroom participation - 10 %

Number to grade conversion: 

We will use absolute numbers for grading.

85 – 100 A; 80 – 84 A-; 75 – 79 B+; 70 – 74 B; 65 – 69 B-; 60 – 64 C+; 55 –59 C; 50 – 54 C-; 45 – 49 D+; 40 – 44 D; & <40 F.
