As a part of this course, you are expected to do a project broadly in the area of bioinformatics or biological modeling.
1. A short but comprehensive 10-minute recorded video presentation describing the premise, methods, outcome, and implication of the work.
2. A README text document containing the above details of the project with the instructions to run your script to reproduce and verify your results.
3. Data and script file(s). Please remember to annotate the script file(s) so that others can understand what's going on.
You need to do the project individually.
You are encouraged to find a topic for the project. You are also welcome to reach out to the instructors in selecting from multiple ideas.
Submission of all the project deliverables will happen through Google Classroom.
All materials related to all the projects will be shared with the entire class for peer evaluation.
Each student is expected to evaluate at least 8 projects and provide appropriate scores and meaningful feedback. You will be evaluated based on your peer evaluation (scoring and feedback).
Consolidated anonymized comments for a project will be shared with the authors toward the end of the course.
